Shadowrocket Download from the App Store
A paid app with a one-time purchase, available only on the App Store. First check the store region and verify the listing, then purchase it with your own Apple ID.

- App ID: 932747118
- $2.99 one-time purchase; US App Store reference price
- Universal purchase for iPhone and iPad
Check the App Store listing for current pricing, system requirements, and compatibility. This page is the official Shadowrocket manual.
App Store region and Apple ID
Shadowrocket isn't available on the mainland China App Store, so check your account's region before searching. The App Store storefront is determined by the country or region of the Apple ID used for Media & Purchases, not directly by your device's location or interface language. A browser may show a product page for a storefront, but that doesn't mean the signed-in account can purchase from it.
The button on this page opens Shadowrocket's App Store product page. Check the app name and developer first, then review the price, compatibility, and account messages shown by the store. If the page says the app isn't available in your country or region, check your account settings; this message doesn't indicate a problem with the client. You don't need to adjust servers or rules in the app before it's installed.
Check Media & Purchases
- Open Settings on your device, then tap your Apple ID at the top.
- Tap Media & Purchases and follow the prompts to view your account.
- Open Country/Region and check your current storefront region.
- If you need to change it, use the Change Country or Region option on that page and follow the prompts.
Changing your region may depend on factors such as account balance, active subscriptions, Family Sharing membership, and payment method. Follow the information shown on your account page. These steps help you review your settings and access the official controls; they don't guarantee that you can change regions.
Be sure to distinguish the Apple ID signed in at the top of your device from the account actually used for Media & Purchases. To find a purchase, use the account that paid for the app. If your account region is correct but the app still doesn't appear, check Screen Time content and privacy restrictions, permitted age ratings, and any payment alerts in the App Store. Check one item at a time and note the exact store message; avoid changing account, network, and device settings all at once.
VERIFY / CHECK THREE DETAILS
Developer, official icon, and app ID
All three details must match; don’t rely on the search result name alone. Similar names are not enough to identify the correct listing. Open the full product page and check the details below before purchasing.
- Developer: Check for Shadow Launch Technology Limited. If the search result shows only part of the name, open the product page and read the full developer name rather than checking just one word.
- Official icon: Compare it with the official icon shown in this section: a rocket outlined in blue and purple on a white background. Similar colors or themes aren't enough; verify the icon alongside the developer and app ID.
- App ID: Confirm that the product page URL contains
id932747118and that the number is932747118. Store region and listing text can affect how the page appears, so check this ID to identify the app.
App ID 932747118

The two images on the right are official App Store screenshots showing the English interface labels Home and Add Server. The example entries, fields, and layout are for reference; they don't provide server details after purchase. The interface may change with app updates. Verify authenticity using the three App Store details rather than expecting every element to match a screenshot on your device.
In Home, Not Connected means there is no active connection; Global Routing selects a routing mode, and Connectivity Test runs a connection test. In Add Server, fields such as Type, Host, and Port must match your own server details. Don't treat example values in a screenshot as a usable configuration.
IPHONE / GETTING STARTED
What to check after buying on iPhone
Install the app from the App Store before configuring it. Check the App Store listing for system requirements. Expand the compatibility details on the product page to confirm that your iPhone meets the requirements. Don't rely solely on the device model or someone else's experience, and don't assume a historical system version is still the minimum. Before purchasing, also check available storage and your account's payment status.
After verifying the App Store listing, complete the purchase using the payment confirmation method shown on your device. Wait for the app to appear on your Home Screen or in the App Library. If the download hasn't finished, check its App Store status and your network connection. Follow any payment, account, or compatibility prompts; repeatedly tapping the purchase button won't identify the cause of an error.
First launch and VPN configuration permission
When you first open the app, locate Home and Add Server, then import your own existing subscription or enter your server details. The first time you connect, iOS may ask permission to add a VPN configuration and require confirmation with your device passcode or biometric authentication. This authorizes the app to use the system's network functionality; it isn't another app purchase and doesn't confirm that a server is working. Make sure you're using Shadowrocket before granting permission.
After granting permission, return to the app and check that a server is selected, the connection switch is on, and Global Routing is set for your needs. Installing the app, granting system permission, and connecting to a remote server are three separate steps. Completing the first two doesn't guarantee the third. If you have connection trouble, note the app's message and check your existing parameters rather than buying the client again.
IPAD / SAME PURCHASE
iPad and other Apple devices
Shadowrocket is a universal purchase for iPhone and iPad; one purchase with the same Apple ID covers both compatible devices. On your iPad, make sure the Apple ID signed in to Media & Purchases is the one used for the original purchase, then open the product page or your purchase history to get the app. Check the App Store listing for iPad system requirements and compatibility.
The iPad's larger display and available screen space can affect how lists and settings appear in portrait and landscape. Look for labels such as Home, Add Server, Config, and Settings instead of relying on screenshot coordinates. Use the labels in the app to understand each server field; don't omit required parameters because the layout looks different.
Restoring a purchase and restoring configuration are separate tasks. Even if you can get the app on your iPad, check whether your server list, subscriptions, and Config are present. If not, import your own existing details again. One device connecting successfully doesn't mean another device has the same configuration.
RESTORE / NEW DEVICE OR REINSTALL
Restore Shadowrocket from your purchases
If the app is still available and your device is compatible, redownload it with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. You won't be charged again for the app. Deleting the app or switching iPhone or iPad devices doesn't transfer the purchase to another account. Before restoring, check your App Store account—especially whether the account used for Media & Purchases is the one that originally paid for the app.
- Open the App Store, tap the account icon in the top-right corner, and check which account is signed in.
- Open Purchased and find Shadowrocket. Depending on your system version, you may find this under Apps or My Apps; follow the prompts to open your purchase history.
- Open the listing, verify the developer and app ID, then use the redownload option to get the app.
- After installation, check Home, your server list, and Config. Reimport your own subscription or server details if needed.
If a price appears, check your purchase history before paying
If you expected a redownload icon but see a price, pause before paying. Check the account, purchase history, and store region, then make sure you've opened the correct listing. A different app with the same name, the wrong account, or a change in purchase history status could affect what you see. Keep your original purchase receipt for reference. For payment issues, use the support option on your App Store account page.
Family Sharing is different from restoring a purchase made with the same account. Check the product page and account details to see whether sharing is supported and whether family members are eligible. Another family member's purchase doesn't automatically mean your account has its own purchase record. If your account's region has changed, check the current App Store listing to see whether you can get the app again.
A purchase history doesn't restore your configuration
The App Store restores your eligibility to use the app, not your original servers, subscription links, rules, or all settings. Before switching devices, make sure you can still access your existing subscription or server details, and keep a backup of any Config files you need. Subscription links and configurations may contain personal credentials; don't post them publicly or include them unredacted in screenshots. When troubleshooting, share only the necessary fields with sensitive information obscured.
After restoring, check one known configuration and run a connection test before restoring other settings. Reinstalling the app won't fix a server that's no longer working. Continue with the User Manual to learn how to handle app restoration, subscription updates, and rule checks as separate maintenance tasks.
PRICE / WHAT THE APP COST COVERS
One-time purchase and payment
Shadowrocket is a one-time paid purchase; there is no monthly charge for the client. The US App Store reference price is $2.99; other storefronts show local currency. The final amount is shown on the App Store purchase confirmation screen. This reference price isn't a live quote, and prices shouldn't be compared across regions by number alone. Before paying, verify the listing and account so you don't mistake a similarly named app for the same product.
The app purchase and any services you already use are handled separately. An expired subscription link, invalid server parameters, or an unavailable remote connection doesn't mean the client purchase failed. Likewise, paying for the client won't make remote server details appear automatically. To identify an issue, first check your App Store purchase history, then confirm the app has a valid configuration, and finally review the connection result.
Updates are delivered through the App Store
If the app is installed, check the App Store for available updates or use your device's automatic update settings. Before updating, make sure you have a usable backup and the original details for any important configurations. Check the App Store listing for update information, system requirements, and compatibility. This page doesn't list fixed version numbers or infer the current version from screenshots.
If you've paid but the app hasn't appeared, check your purchase history and download status, then confirm your network connection and available device storage before following the App Store prompts. Don't make repeated payments to troubleshoot a connection issue, and don't mistake an account payment problem for a Global Routing setting. Check purchase, installation, configuration, and connection separately and in order to determine whether to act in the store or the app.
FAQ / BEFORE AND AFTER PURCHASE
Download and restore FAQs
Can't find Shadowrocket in the App Store? Check these settings first.
First check the country or region of the Apple ID used for Media & Purchases. Shadowrocket isn't available on the mainland China App Store, and the account's region determines the storefront. Then check Screen Time content and age-rating restrictions. Being able to open the product page doesn't guarantee that the current account can make a purchase.
The product page opens, but the download won't finish. What should I check?
Note the exact App Store message, then check your account's purchase eligibility, payment status, available device storage, network connection, and product-page compatibility requirements. If you've been charged, check your purchase history first; don't repeatedly confirm payment. In-app connection settings don't affect App Store downloads.
Do I have to pay again after switching or resetting devices?
If the app is still available and your new device is compatible, redownload it from your App Store purchase history using the Apple ID that made the original purchase. You won't be charged again for the app. If a price appears, check the account and purchase history first. Reinstalling the app doesn't restore your existing subscriptions or configuration.
If I bought Shadowrocket on iPhone, can I install it on iPad too?
Shadowrocket is a universal purchase for iPhone and iPad. After buying it with the same Apple ID, you can get it from your App Store purchase history on a compatible iPad. Check the App Store listing for system requirements and compatibility. In the app, check separately whether your servers, subscriptions, and Config have been restored.
Where can I get Shadowrocket for Mac or Apple TV?
The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Get Shadowrocket on these devices through the App Store. Check the listing for system requirements, device compatibility, and whether the purchase is universal.
How do I follow the manual when the interface is in English?
The manual keeps English interface labels such as Home, Add Server, Config, Global Routing, and Settings so you can find the corresponding controls. The interface language alone doesn't verify an app's authenticity; check the developer, official icon, and app ID. Have your own subscription or server details ready before adding a server.
